Rider Information
Ride Support
The Team of People supporting us every step (or pedal) of the way from NYC to Boston is truly incredible!
Water Stops: We’ve got them approximately every 25 miles. We call them water stops but there is plenty of food too! When you reach these stops and see the smiling faces of our volunteers you know there is ice cream or some other treat right around the corner.
Mechanical and SAG Support:We have a Team of people ready to help including Husam Sahin, the owner of ATA Cycle, and Bob Jenney, our mechanics guru -- these guys can fix anything!
Jon Zalesne (Susan Retik’s brother) will come all the way from Colorado to NYC to help keep us safe. This year, he’ll be riding right along with us on a bike – a motorcycle, that is. Jon will help
keep us on the right roads and will wait at tricky turns
to make sure everyone is heading in the right direction.
Speaking of the roads… Mel Stoler has once again generously put together the cue sheets for the ride. This will be Mel’s third time riding this route with us. Not only does he help with the route but he’s honestly among the strongest and nicest riders you’ll ever meet. He’s always there to help you get up a hill, fix a flat or chat your ear off – he’s the BEST and we couldn’t do it without him.
